About Us
I feel in love with our first Chihuahua, Raxley Beau Beau, in 2000 when I saw him up for adoption on a local rescue website. He was already considered "Senior" when he joined our family and we only had six years with him before he passed away from complications due to kidney disease. The last six months of his life I had to learn to give him sub-q fluids every other day, feed him a special home cooked diet, and help him to maintain his dignity when his incontinence became increasingly worse. We enjoyed every minute of the six years he spent with us, and would do it all over again if we could. We miss him terribly. Since 2000 we have adopted three other Chihuahua's and I have become increasingly involved in rescue. This website was started in an attempt to raise desperately needed funds that allow us to provide quality care to Chihuahua's in need while we search for their forever homes. I purchase all supplies with personal funds and happily use my spare time to create the items for sale on this site.
